I was wondering if anybody knows whether the version of EnergyXT used when saving a project is stored in that project's file.

I'm doing some housekeeping.

It could well be stored, but so far I never had any problems opening old projects with new versions and also not opening newer projects with older versions.

I see.
I had a quick look at a xt project file, and it seems there is no version number in there. At least it cannot be found easily, since it is all binary data.

Well, thanks for trying. I had a look at a couple of projects using XVI32 but couldn't see anything obviously useful.
