Set the channel of the Guitar-Amp to "Dirty"

Happens to me too.
But it worked well before. Used dirty in my tracks a lot, now since some time can't make it work. With 3.0 it's the same.
It's a pity because it's a nice effect and simple. Any simple alternative anybody could suggest?
