Hi, first post here :)

Is it possible to map one or more device on/off switches to a button modulator?

I have multiple devices or effects that I want to be able to toggle off at the same time. I can create automation tracks for each of the on/off switches, however this is cumbersome, messy and hopefully unnecessary.

The only other way I can think of is to use a button modulator, but I cant get this to work. I've tried clicking the blue arrow under the button modulator, however I am not able to then click the device on/off switch that I want it to control (It seems like I can only select knobs on the same device). I've tried right-clicking the button modulator, selecting Map To Controller or Key, then clicking the device on/off switch (and vis versa), however this doesn't appear to do anything (and the mapping doesnt show up under modulator routing). It seems like this just isnt possible, but I find that hard to believe.

I've also tried creating an automation clip for one of the on/off switches, and mapping the others to the same automation clip, but it also seems this isnt possible.

1.) Place a button in the track modulator section to do this (all the way to the left in the device rack)

OR

2.) Place a Chain device before the instrument/plug-ins, then drag everything into the Chain device. Then throw the button in the Chain device modulator section.
