Felix is inspired by the Octave Kitten hardware synth from the early eighties. The really powerful area of the Kitten was the modulation - the LFO / Sample+Hold routing to modulate the ADSR / VCO / VCF - it could produce many interesting effects and S&H sounds. The Krolar SX-2 was inspired by the 1978/9 hardware Roland synth, the SH-2. Features: OSC1: sine/saw/pulse. OSC2: saw/pulse/noise. SubOsc: square (-1 oct below the settings of OSC1).
