Bolder Sounds releases Handbells V2 for Kontakt 3+ and Bolder Pianos and Granular Voices for Motif XF

Bolder Sounds has announced the release of Handbells V2 for NI's Kontakt (3+) and Bolder Pianos and Granular Voices for Yamaha's Motif XF.

Handbells V2 for Kontakt
Version 2 of this 2.4 gigabyte sample library for NI Kontakt 3 & 4 has doubled in size since version 1 was released in November 2009. Three more octaves of Handbells as well as two new articulations (Mart and Mart-Lift) have been added - on the low end, C2 and G2 bells as well as the octave above that (C3 - B3), and on the high end BS has included bells C7 - C8.

Also included is a new effective user interface created by Bo Clausen. V2 scripting features include Per Key Round-Robin, Intelligent Pitch Round-Robin, Preset save/Recall, various sustain and pedal modes, as well as echo and gyro effect pages.

The V2 Handbell library is available at an introductory price of $119 until January 1st, 2011. Current V1 Handbell Library owners may upgrade for $40. First time buyers of the V2 library will receive the V2 Christmas bells FREE. This offer expires Christmas Day, 2010.

Bolder Pianos XF [$99]
Optimized specifically for the Motif XF by Dave Polich of DCP Productions, the Bolder Pianos XF library features two pianos recorded in Colorado studios by Bolder Sounds – a brilliant, defined Yamaha C7, and a classic Steinway Model D grand. A total of 16 voices for each piano (32 voices in all) includes a variety of solo piano sounds such as studio, bright, dark, chorused, and compressed, along with useful layered sounds such as piano with strings, piano with pad, and piano plus electric piano. Topping off this sound library is a collection of "effects" voices, such as madhouse, ring modulated, and "kitten on the keys" pianos. All voices implement Motif XS assignable knob and function switches and features such as damper resonance and half-pedaling control.

The download includes a "Universal File" which loads the library to either standard Motif XF user RAM, or to an optional flashboard installed in the XF.

Granular Voices XF [$79]
Re-formatted and optimized for the Motif XF, "Granular Voices XF" features 128 voices based on granular synthesis, a unique process not available to Motif XS users, which makes this library completely unique.

Sound designer Dennis Burns of Bolder Sounds worked for a year creating this collection, and Dave Polich of DCP Productions updated it for the XF. This library offers musicians and producers a rare palette of sounds not previously available to the Motif community.

The download includes both "Flash" and "Non-Flash" versions of the library, for standard Motif XF's and Motif XF's with the optional flashboard installed.
