Soundiron has released a new 2.0 edition of the Olympus Micro Choir, with double the amount of content, a redesigned GUI and a number of added features.
Olympus Micro is a compact, yet fully functional and playable male/female symphonic choir instrument for Kontakt with tempo-synching phrasing, vowel sustains, staccatos and special atmospheric effects. It is designed to offer a taste of the features and sound that Soundiron's full Olympus Symphonic Collection offers, featuring selected content from both Mars and Venus divisi choirs. It can also serve as a basic high-quality choir pad kit for those who just need the basics, but still want professional quality, natural acoustics and expanded control features.
The interface includes real-time control over key-range, dynamics, tempo, sample offset, attack shape, room decay, stereo position and other advanced performance shaping parameters for two independent ensemble section layers in the same GUI. The interface is designed to allow the creation of new phonetic combinations, sustains and syllable sequences from the raw material provided, with full automation support. It also provides a polyphonic legato system, parametric EQ and custom hall, room and special effects reverb options.
