Richard Lichten / Northern Winds Records has released Butterfly Effect - New Sonic Ways, a collection of 128 presets for Image Line's Sytrus.

Patch sections are:

• Elektro Moves: complex moving and biting sounds, sometimes designed using Sytrus complex arpeggiator possibilities.
• Digital Moves: moving, quieter sounds, well suited for ambient genres.
• Basses: powerful and deep, often using FM.
• Plucked Sounds: Guitar-like and similar sounds using Sytrus capacity for clear sounds and articulation.
• Orchestral: Brasses, Harps, Glassharps, Pianos, and more complex sounds.
• Pads: Moving, digital, clear and sometimes evocative pads.
• FX: Sound FX, sometimes hard and biting, sometimes menacing.

Butterfly effect costs €12. Audio demos and a free demo bank with 24 presets are available.

Richard Lichten also offers a free (donations welcome) Patch Library, a growing collection of (mostly) full banks for VSTi-based Synths. At present, it includes banks for Pentagon, Astrobelt, Fat Machine, Abstract Guitar, Asynth, eJ, Vocal and Micron.
