Harrison has released Mixbus v8, the smaller and cost-effective brother to their Mixbus32C workstation. During the introductory discount period, you can get Mixbus v8 for US$59.

Here's what they say:

The Mixbus community developed around Mixbus's reputation for sound; but we've received many requests for creative arrangement tools. You wanted to use Mixbus for the entire creation process, not just mixing. Our job is to meet your expectations, and version 8 delivers.

Mixbus's new Cue Page provides a suite of new tools for producing with Loops and Clips. We've taken it to the next level with Cue Markers: a new concept that allows you to trigger rows (Cues) on the timeline to develop your arrangement before you've committed to specific sounds.

We've stayed true to the original Mixbus ethos by expanding the mixer to include Mixer Scenes: Compare up to 8 different mixes to see which one is most rocking; stash a safety mix that you can return to later; or use the scenes to drive a realtime podcast/broadcast, switching between the hosts, the guests, and a band on-the-fly.

Mixbus v8 is easier to adopt as your new DAW with more bundled content than any prior version of Mixbus: we've provided a range of audio loops, MIDI drum loops, MIDI chords, and individual MIDI drum patterns. You can use a wide variety of audio formats including Apple Loops and other material already in your collection. There's also an included Test Session so you can try Mixbus without importing or recording audio first.

Mixbus v8 provides 4 dedicated pages: Cue, Record, Edit, and Mix. By separating the workflow into 4 distinct stages, Mixbus helps you to streamline the process of creating, mixing and mastering your next hit.

Other important upgrades in v8 include native Mac M1 support, improvements to Ripple Editing, MIDI Editing, and many more.

Intro Price: $59 using code MB8-INTRO at checkout at onfastspring.com (Reg. $ 129). Or try a free demo.

An upgrade from any prior version of Mixbus is $29. Prior customers should have received an upgrade email with their upgrade details.
