Urs Heckmann has released a public beta version of Zebra, a new AudioUnit synth for OS X.
Zebra is a next-generation virtual synthesizer plug-in that combines subtractive and additive synthesis with a powerful modulation engine that smoothly integrates with the built-in effects section. Zebra is easy to use with a nice, comfortable user interface and it has a phat, warm and organic sound and it comes with lots of ready-to-use presets.

Zebra is scheduled for final release in December 2003 and will cost $159 (US) but, as a special pre-order offer, users can save almost 50% by purchasing now ($79).
Support for VST Windows is planned for Q1 2004 (Not guaranteed).
