Well this is in beta beta so it's not perfect yet. I do like the fact that it can select the chop in different ways very easily. The one big problem is the clicking at the end of the sound. So Zero crossing needs to be implemented. Looking forward to it's further development.

No 64-bit version? Look like fun plugin.

It has the potential to be fun, but sadly it falls short on a couple of very, very key points:

1) No key overlap. It is 100% impossible to get smooth playback, because if you hit one key before releasing the former, the new key just won't play. I understand that this is probably because the plugin does 0% attempt at multiplexing the sample, but really, for the thing to be even remotely useful, this direly needs to be fixed.

2) No fade. No option to either. Meaning that when you hit a key and it starts playing, there's a POP. And when you release, or the segment you're playing ends, another POP. A small fade-in/out could deal with this, but is not there.

3) Almost no way to adjust playback tempo. You can play in the sample's original speed, or half that. Nothing else. No double. No custom. Nothing.

And finally..

4) No way to make custom cut-points. You can pick between 4th, 8th, 16th, 32nd, and "Auto", which tries to guess where good beat points are. No way to adjust these, or make up your own.

It's a free product, so there's a limit, I guess, to what you can demand. But really, as it is, it's not useful. At all.

Thank you for the feedback. As I pointed out in the description this plugin is still on early stages. It has been working for me on some cases, but perhaps it was released as a bit too rough.

The issue with pop-sounds is on the top of the list. I will look into overlapping samples, and inserting cut-points automatically based on the project tempo is on the works.

All we need is just a little patience.

I'm glad to announce that starting from version 1.08 the plugin now supports overlapping of keys, and the pop sounds have been eliminated.

Cheers.
