Can I use Acon Digital DeVerberate with any of the following: Final Cut Pro (FCP7), Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe Audition?
Preferably I would like to use it with Audition.
Thanks.
Thanks for the interest! Yes, DeVerberate works fine in all of these, including Audition.
What about the delay it introduce? Is it good for live (like video streams, where big delays are breaking lipsink)?
Thanks for the interest! There's a 1536 samples latency at 44.1 kHz so it's not ideal for real-time video, I'm afraid. The early reflection filter has zero latency, so it's the reverb tail suppression that introduces the latency.
Hi, .
is there a manual for DeVerberate 2? And if yes, how do you get it?
Thank you.
Hello, I'm just a user (I don't work with Acon Digital), but just go to the Acon Digital site, Downloads, DeVerberate2, click on the + to expand the view, as usual, and you will see it:
Thank you, XComposer. You made my day.

Hi, I bought DeVerberate on Friday, went away and didn't take my MBPro with me, came back today (Monday) and installed the software but it doesn't appear in 'Appliations' or 'Launchpad', so I can't use it. MacBookPro is 2022 M1 with 8TB hard drive with 3GB space available. I'm in Australia which means there's no techsupport available to me until much later in the day, and the bot on the Paddle.net site is incredibly dumb and untrained. It drove me up the wall with how it couldn't recognise any thing or know how fix anything. Why even have it as a 'customer service' tool when it certainly didn't serve this customr well.
Can anyone offfer a solution to the lack of appearance of DeVerberate so I can use it? Yes, it is the latest version of the software I tried installing.
Thanks.
As stated on the Acon Digital website, it is a plug-in and it requires "A host application that is compatible with (64-bit) AU, VST, VST3 or AAX (Pro Tools 11 or higher)".
Since it's a plug-in, you should be able to use it by opening Logic, Pro Tools, Ocenaudio, Amadeus Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase or any other audio software that support plugins (by following the manual of that software). It doesn't work directly as a standalone application: it requires to use one of these other softwares.
