DistoFonic

DistoFonic is a dual-band distortion audio effect plug-in.

The heart of DistoFonic is a distortion unit from Disto:FX,
which goes from subtle saturation to extreme distortion/overdrive.
Designed for the ultimate sonic assault, this loud and proud distortion plug-in specializes in a surprising variaty of distortion effects.

DistoFonic consists of six essential signal processing units:

• preprocessing input unit with saturation.
• distorion unit with three operating modes and a dynamic shaper.
• filter unit.
• 4 band equalizer for each band.
• dual-band processor with flexible split frequecies.
• output unit with clipper/limiter.

The distortion effect can be switched for processing the signal before and/or after the filter unit.
Each of the 79 built-in distortion shapes can be modified by applying different algorithms.
The output unit handles final signal processing such as pan, filter, output saturation, and a configurable clipper/limiter with 3 modes
to control the output signal level.
