TAP is a plugin allowing to time align an audio track to a reference one in real-time. The processing provides a sample accurate time alignment required to cancel any undesired comb-filtering effect on final mix.
To align an audio track, only two steps are required:
Just simple as that.
Audio track alignment is very important in many situations, at least in multi-mics recording and parallel recording.
TAP processing is looking at each sample of the incoming audio signal and find its position in relation to the side-chain reference track exactly like any audio engineer would do by zooming inside the audio waveforms. But instead of just looking to the first samples or first audio transients to save time, TAP processes the input audio along the full length of the track in order to keep it always aligned.
No learning phase and no adjustments are required, TAP is able to process different parts of your audio track with different time adjustment requirements. Only subtle and inaudible delay changes are applied without any phase processing drawbacks, but whenever input track is silent, the next audio part is aligned from the first sample.
TAP displays:
GUI's footprint is small in order to work with several tracks at the same time.
TAP is available as AAX2/AU/VTS3 for Mac OS X 10.6 and above.
