I just got the 15 disc blu-ray edition containing the unedited 12 disc version of the movie with 3 additional discs of on-camera dialogue where all the people involved cry for forgivness and try to explain to the rest of us what the hell they were thinking when they got involved in that train wreck of a half-baked Stanley Kubrick was dead and his movie unfinished but the studio was more then happy to trim it down to it's present theatrical release length in a single marathon editing session in an effort to maximise profits on his good name.

So the moral of the story of Eyes Wide Shut is that the studio(s) finally got even with Stanley Kubrick for all the years of his battling over creative control, production cost over-runs, etc.

RIP Stanley Kubrick. And thanks for fighting for your art-you made some good movies.
