in the last 5 years or so when I never really cared about the KVR, for some reason his cat postings I always read. rest in peace Ian. Cats are the best, Ian's contributions sweet.

R.I.P.
The death is a real thing, everyone should enjoy every single day like if were the last.

I'm truly sorry.
From our discussions in the HPC I'd like to believe Ian and I would have got on really well had we met personally.
Sincere condolences to his family.

Yeah, no one else knows how to complain about the things that go wrong in their life in such an entertaining manner.Kriminal wrote:The place isnt the same without Ian....
If I believed in it, I'm sure that he would have an amusing story about how things got screwed up trying to get through the gates of heaven and it would certainly involve a loony neighbor on the next cloud or something like that.

Didn't see this till now. I've been here for a long time(not under this company moniker), and have always enjoyed his warm presence here. RIP, Ian.

Yeah, I do from time to time. Especially as no one else here has the same outlook on life or talent for talking about a mundane day in such an entertaining way.Kriminal wrote:Was thinkng about Ian earlier. Still makes me sad when i see this thread...

Had no idea about this. What sad news. Ian was a true old-school KVR legend. Sleep easy.
