112dB has announced that its virtual vintage sampler Morgana has been updated to version 1.2, a free update for all registered users. This version introduces VST and Audio Units versions for Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and 10.5 (Leopard). The update includes both the retail and demo versions of Morgana and is available immediately.

Receptor - The Ultimate Synth & Sampler Module

New Features:

  • VST and Audio Units versions for Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and 10.5 (Leopard).
  • Mouse scroll wheel support for sample editor (both up/down for zoom and left/right for shift).
  • LCD value display stays for a few seconds after adjusting control.

Improvements:

  • Root key for samples without root key definition defaults to zone center when sampling/importing new
    sample.

Fixes:

  • Sample editor redraws much faster for big - more than a few MB - files.
  • Switching modules could, under some circumstances, corrupt zone settings.

Morgana is now available in VST format for Windows XP/Vista and VST/AU formats for Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and 10.5 (Leopard), and is exclusively sold online at the 112dB web store for €169 / $199.

An RTAS version for both Windows and Mac OS X is scheduled for Q1 2008 and will be made available free to all registered users.
