Agile Partners, a leading developer of guitar apps for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, has announced it will be one of the companies featured at the 2011 NAMM Show Media Preview Day on Wednesday, January 12, 2011. Agile Partners will present its guitar apps to the NAMM Show media with live demonstrations of AmpKit, the amps, effects, and recording app, and Guitar World Lick of the Day, the guitar instruction app. The live demonstrations will begin at 10:30 a.m. with performances by renowned guitar celebrities Alex Skolnick from Alex Skolnick Trio and Testament, and Phil Collen from Def Leppard.

Agile Partners' AmpKit and AmpKit LiNK -- the low-crosstalk guitar interface for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch developed in collaboration with Peavey Electronics -- provide guitar and bass players with a powerful way to play and record high quality tones anytime and anywhere. A "universal" app that supports iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, AmpKit offers high quality amps and effects simulations with the most punishing gain available in the App Store. Alex Skolnick will provide the NAMM Show media with a live demonstration of AmpKit's feature set, tone quality, and support for high-gain amps and pedals.

Developed by Agile Partners and Guitar World magazine, Guitar World Lick of the Day provides a fun and engaging approach to guitar instruction on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The innovative app delivers a new and challenging lick every day to guitar players who want to continuously improve their guitar playing skills and broaden their repertoire. Guitar World Lick of the Day includes high quality videos of instructors and guitar celebrities, tab and standard music notation, playback tempo control, audio synthesis, and more. Def Leppard's Phil Collen will present Guitar World Lick of the Day to the NAMM Show media and perform well-known licks from Def Leppard songs.
