Samplemodeling has announced that the SWAM team has released free updates for their Woodwinds (v2.7) and Strings - Cello, Viola and Violin (v1.3).
Please note that this update is the last version supporting both 64 and 32-bit architecture. All the future updates will be available as 64-bit plugins only.
Changes in Woodwinds v2.7.0
New:
- GUI improvements: activation panel, warning messages, other tweaks.
- Legato Mode can be controlled by MIDI CC.
- Expression change is more reactive in Flutes.
- Accidental Squeak is controlled by Dyn.Harm.
- Possibility to exclude portamento even for velocity-controlled legato transitions.
Fixed:
- crash at startup or when loading presets on some hosts/DAWs.
- muted instrument and empty display after first activation.
- presets not recalled by Vienna Ensemble Pro.
Changes in Strings v1.3.0
New:
- Improved bow/string friction model.
- Small improvements to sound engine.
- Slightly improved legato on multi-dimensional devices (like Seaboard and LinnStrument).
- Possibility to exclude portamento even for velocity-controlled legato transitions.
- Added emulation of instruments recorded through a PickUp.

Fixed:
- Auto polyphony sometimes not triggered after about 20 seconds from the latest note.
