Ingo Leif Software released beta version 0.26 of GPU Impulse Reverb, a new impulse reverb VST effect plug-in for Windows that does the full reverb computation on a NVIDIA graphics adapter and has a CPU consumption of nearly 0%. The plug-in requires a CUDA capable NVIDIA GPU (G80 => GeForce 8xxx or higher) and recent drivers.

The plug-in loads impulse responses from stereo WAV Files between 8 and 32 bit. It can be inserted as an FX plug-in in all VST2 compatible hosts.

The plug-in is freeware and can be downloaded to be used both in private as well as in commercial productions.

A discussion thread is available in our effects forum.
