SONiVOX has announced the availability of its latest virtual instrument release: SoundStage, a new plug-in instrument, for both Mac OS X and Windows, designed to provide a comprehensive standard palette of instruments for composers, home studio enthusiasts, songwriters, educators, live musicians, or anyone looking to expand their instrumental palette.

SoundStageSoundStage features over 200 instruments based loosely on the GM GS spec including, drums, keyboards, guitars, basses, synths, ethnic percussion, orchestral instruments and much more, all programmed by sound designer Jennifer Hruska.

SoundStage comes equipped with its own efficient virtual instrument engine complete with a selection of high quality FX by SONiVOX and iZotope including Chorus, Delay, Reverb, and EQ, as well as easy to use filter and envelope controls section enabling the user easy sculpting of sounds.

SoundStage is priced with an MSRP of $99 and is compatible with both Mac OS X and Windows as a standalone instrument, as well as a plug-in within any VST, AU or RTAS host.
