Have you ever wanted to augment your Pro 52 or Model E with classic sounds from leading synth pioneers? If so, check out http://www.gmediamusic.com where it's now possible to download two soundsets programmed by bona fide music legends. Each Signature Soundset is available in either PC or Mac versions, comes complete with signed colour .pdf manual and costs £14.95.

Rick Wakeman Model E

The first soundset for Steinberg's Model E comes from none other than Rick Wakeman, (Yes, David Bowie, etc.), and contains 128 classic sounds replicated from his trademark Minimoog performances. Rick states "At one point I had nine Minimoogs, each one sounding slightly different. The Model E offers a good balance of Mooglike tones and my hope is that you find a few sounds here that will get your own creative juices flowing."

128 Sounds including; You and I, Catherine Parr, Close to the Edge, Hold On, Topographic and many more.

Richard Barbieri - Pro 52

The second soundset for Native Instruments' Pro-52 contains 128 sounds programmed by Richard Barbieri (Japan, Rain Tree Crow and Porcupine Tree), and features highlights from his Prophet 5 archives compiled from over 15 years worth of programming. Sounds were transferred via SysEx from a Prophet 5 into the Pro-52, and then converted into 128 individual patches plus two banks of 64 sounds.

Richard Barbieri's 'Signature Sounds' include; Cross Mod Gamelans, Grainy Wheel Melody, Intro Pad, Slo Filter Drone, Odd Tune Ethnic and more.
