It seems that the vsti version of sytrus can not have a 100% full velocity , tried it in reaper and renoise.
Go to vol /vel m tab and it's stuck at 80%.( with full velocity )
The velocity indicator is the vertical grey line .( between the coloured arrow and the percentage )

Now , funny thing is that this 80% is the default value of fl studio velocity setting , in fl studio sytrus does respond to full velocity ( 100%)
Which makes me think the folks at image line have copied some fl code into sytrus vsti , or at least the default fl studio velocity value as a maximum value in the vsti version

Hmm strange. Seems like they have copied the code indeed. I have fl studio aswell and am aware of the way the velocity respons there. You should post this in the 'Imageline' forum.

and yeah , the same is true for the harmor vsti , maximum velocity = 80%

Strange. Ive never used Sytrus and harmor in other daws so cant really help you.

Have you checked that 80% velocity and 100% velocity produce the same level? i.e. that it's not just scaled over 4/5 of the range for some reason, but that anything above 80% is treated as 80%?

Also, if you can't bother reporting the bug, you can't realistically expect it to be fixed.

Yes I have , sytrus default patch
Full velocity in both hosts reaper/renoise are ---> 80% in sytrus ., which is standard velo depth in fl studio.
It's just some fl code slipped into sytrus vsti .
I can't think of another explanation

Lower velocity gives a lower readout ...this depends on the velocity curve which remaps incoming values ( but this is not relevant here )
By default the velocity curve is set to nill ( thus no velocity rescaling or sensitivity at all ) , the vertical(grey) line shows the velocity values interpreted by sytrus ,
But the pointer ( vertical gray line ) can't exceed 80 % .
So full velocity ( 127 ) which is 100% is internallly rescaled by a factor of 0.8 ---> to give 80%
Even when using the sytrus gui keyboard ( which is velocity sensitive ) it's not going above 80 %
Do this in fl studio and it's goes to full 100%

@ vortifex ..no luck mate ..
I am using demo versions of said synths.
All the soft I own is legit
