What's the highest resolution you have/are using?

And it doesn't matter if you have hd screen or not. Just drop the resolution to 1024x768 and you'll see. First screen for hd usage and second screen for those small nonscalable plugs ;)

I have a resolution of 1920x1080. I guess it's HD.

I like their Renegade, alien 303 v2 and ultrabass synths for psy-like sounds, but I'm not very impressed with this one unfortunately, especially against the high cpu consumption that it has. Sorry guys.
No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

Lejurai wrote:You should grab some older 1680x1050 screen as secondary. They are practically free and older plugins show up nicely ;)
But this plug is completely new? :?

This is the XR7 BTW, almost looks like it was made by Yamaha

Roland had D50, yet Yamaha made DT50 :D

Apparently my screen is HD and I don't see the problem with FM Wave XR7 GUI. What I'm supposed to see, pixel aliasing in the font?

Post

Too big resolution and you shouldn't be able to see anything :D

Could Adam Szabo do something similar with JP6K to make that 64 bit also ?
I have no idea how or what they did to make their own bridging, but if someone finds out I would gladly make my JP6K use that.

This is how bridge works.

32bit VST <---> Hidden 32bit Host <--- Process Communication ---> 64bit VST <---> 64bit DAW

You need to develop hidden 32bit Host (to host SynthMaker plugin) and 64bit VST (to communicate with DAW).
However, process communication should be bottleneck and it never works faster than native 64bit plugin.
Bridge should be avoided if you can.

If you really want to do, I think you are better to ask jBridge guy.
Kong Audio plugin uses jBridge technology too.

Ask from them? :P I'd gladly buy JP6K again if it goes x64 :tu: Or remake it with c++?

If you want to know how they did, download the 64 bit demo of Renegade (or FM Wave XR7), install it and then find the Renegade_core.exe in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins\G-Sonique\Renegade DEMO

Download Resource Hacker (free) here: http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/
Download Renegade Demo here: http://www.g-sonique.com/demos.html

See what they did:

Cool, although, I wish I would understand more of that, I am not really a hacker haha. That jbridge dialog looks like its some custom jrbidge application specifically for this maybe?

Yes, it seems to be a special licensed version of jBridge (in best case scenario). The demo version of Renegade has the demo version of jBridge in it from what I see.

Hmm, maybe i can get in touch with the jbridge guy and get a deal or something

Yeah, I did that yesterday but I'm not sure I'll get an answer since he last updated his website in 2014. But it's worth a try, for people who really want to use some specific Flowstone made plugin I think it's worthwhile.
