This. SampleTank 3 is in development. That is all I can say for now.
We're not idiots...We've seen plugins converted to 64 bit in no time. Sorry, I don't buy that response.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply anyone was an idiot. I wasn't selling a response either. It is what it is and it is in development. :)

I have all these sampletank powered instruments from my total bundle that i can't use :(
When I got a processor that does 32 or 64 bit, I stuck with 32. Am I missing something? :hihi:

Last time I used ST2 was....I honestly forgot! A 64bit version wouldn't change that. I guess I will not bother reinstalling it with my next DAW upgrade. I am 100 pct Kontakt these days - and like many others I have invested a lot in Kontakt libs. So even if possible would I use Symphobia in ST3? No. Would I use inferior libs than the ones I bought? Why should I. Do I need another traditional rompler/sampler. No.

What would be cool though if ST3 would be a true workstation+synthesis approach. Halion Sonic on steroids. Korg Kronos for $399. Yes, that would be cool

Given it ever materializes...

I bought the total-bundle under the last sale, only becourse the argument
that the libs would be ST3-compatible was exposed during the sales-tread,
now as the mounths continues to pass by I realise that I might have been a
Idiot, after all the "cirkus" had been going on already for years back at
that time, I should have known better,...

Don't worry Theo, IK Multimedia have a solution: Buy SampleTank 3!

I heard the next sampletank will come bundled with bitwig studio and that's why it's taking so long. this is why the "beta" for bitwig studio does not have a vst option. yet. just internal plugs.

what else could it be really?

Of all the things it might be.. this is the most solid rumor you could devise to spread?

Indeed. He completely ignored the one where it's bundled with a new Jordan Rudess controller in the form of a ridable pink unicorn in which the horn is a playable MIDI instrument developed in conjunction with the guys who brought us the Eigenharp.

I'm almost hoping for something akin to the Kontakt Player from IKM, i.e., the free SampleTank 3 Player, because there are odds and ends I'd like to have access to in future from the Total Workstation Bundle (the theremin in SampleMoog -and the entirety of SampleTron... I'm a Theremin and Mellotron whore ). I'm not thilled about the idea of shelling out for ST3 to regain access to them though.

At this point we plan to release a free version like the current and upcoming free versions of other products.

And they will read the old libraries?

If so:
If not: :smack:
