And you know what's going to happen? When this thing is released, I'm not going to be getting it. Not the way to treat people who took the time to fill out their ridiculous questionnaire, like I was applying for a job or something.HiEnergy wrote:wagtunes: I'm with you... still didn't get a positive reply.

I agree, that 'contract' was way to much for me!
NDA is fine (have no-one in my world to disclose it to anyway, just living on the fringe of existence), but they demanded that I 'committed to testing' (like a job indeed), and that is something I just cannot do. I can't take that kind of commitment (or have a job) due to my illness, so no, that just wasn't for me ...
(It's their loss because I am a good tester who notices all kind of (ergonomic) details ...

Good beta testing is indeed a job worthy of pay. I find these days that developers often just release software in late beta stages anyway and let earliy adopters handle the job for free. At least these guys are taking it seriously. I'd expect at least a NFR copy for my work.zxant wrote:wagtunes wrote:And you know what's going to happen? Really looking forward to this one... shame they haven't at least posted an audio teaser track. The concept of this is really exciting, but it all comes down to how good the audio engine actually is.jc_vt wrote:Received an update today and the email indicated more people were just added to the test group
