Anyone know if the developer is working on this? Is it fairly stable at its current release
*EDIT* See it has 64 bit support with latest update on OSX
Hard to stay afloat in this industry I guess, that's why he's kinda re-focused on iOS apps.Aloysius wrote:Never heard anything more about that since.
It's obvious it needs A LOT of updates if it is to reach some relatively complete and functional state but the developer hasn't posted here for almost a year. If it's a one-man show, I wouldn't expect anything other than - probably - a couple of minor updates, if at all. That's too sadolikana wrote:it needs a 0dff filter to be even close in emulating an arp2600 (especially if referencing to the earlier models with the moog filter clone).
if it gets such upgrade i'd buy it in a shot
What is a 0dff filter? I am not familiar with that term.olikana wrote:it needs a 0dff filter to be even close in emulating an arp2600 (especially if referencing to the earlier models with the moog filter clone).

The price definitely needs an update. Seeing that a lot of retailers (like Arturia for instance) have cut their prices, $249 is way out over the top, and if you haven't already got an iLok you need to add $50 to get one of those to.Mushy Mushy wrote:Does it need an update?
Wayoutware was bold enough to offer A/B filter comparisons at full resonance on the website. Did you find the Timewarp filter fell short of the hardware 2600?olikana wrote:it needs a 0dff filter to be even close in emulating an arp2600 (especially if referencing to the earlier models with the moog filter clone).

One complete page full of information about zero delay feedback filter here :rexlapin wrote:0dff= zero delay feedback filter as used in the u-he Diva synth and synths
from XILS and others. Here is a link to the u-he Diva page:

There is a link to the manual at the bottom of the page which explains more.
Cheers,

TimewARP 2600 is a little different than most analog emulations. First off, it was written quite a while before the invention of the term 0dff... TimewARP 2600 is different because every controllable parameter on every module including the filter are updated each sample with feedback from every other connected module in the synth all of the time.Lotuzia wrote:One complete page full of information about zero delay feedback filter here :rexlapin wrote:0dff= zero delay feedback filter as used in the u-he Diva synth and synths
