This is the current status of the project ( November 2020):
The audio-engine is already finished and the plugin is very stable and PC.
The GUI will still needs to be polished. Some features might still be added here.
Next week i'll try to do a first port to the Mac.
I am currently building patches and running tests.
Audio demos will be available after programming and sound-design finished.
Most likely there will be no video available. I don't have time and budget for this.

Well, that's a big one, and something I miss from all of your other plugins. At least I hope that it's true stereo, in the sense that there's control over the stereo spread of the oscillators as well, just like on Spire, Sylenth1, Dune and all the other big ones.Markus Krause wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2020 9:27 am - True stereo-architecture for the oscillators & filters
Although this makes me a bit sceptical in that regard:
Could you explain how the stereo is implemented on oscillator level? Is there a stereo spread control? I only see a "Spread" control on the screenshot which I assume is the detune.Markus Krause wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2020 9:27 am - Hypersaw (mono & stereo)

That's unexpected, you said there won't be any new synths from Tone2

Looking forward to this. The interface looks nice as well.

It is true that i wrote last year that I will not develop new synthesizers.
However I did not know that I would get infected by Corona in March and would have to stay at home for weeks. Instead of watching TV and playing games I started to built a fun-synth (mainly for myself)

Hi Marcus,
Isn’t this a good time to try vst3 format with this synth?
Anyway, thanks for your creations, Rayblaster and Icarus 2 here!

He has it listed as vst 3.7 too.
Interesting.

Actually just realised there will not be a mac vst 2.4PC: VST 2.4 (64 bit), VST 3.7 (64 bit), Standalone
Mac: VST 3.7 (64 bit); most likely also AudioUnit
Interesting.

Nice to see vst3. Is that coming for the others too?

VST3 offers no real advantages for synthesizers and does not offer proper Midi support. I am really not a fan of this plugin-format. There are still many hosts which do not support it or support only a subset of it.
To still support VST 2.4 for Warlock I had to do lots of tricks and tweaks with the VST 3.7 SDK. I needed months. Steinberg makes this as difficult as possible, for no valid reason.
Even after 10 years Steinberg's VST3 SDK is still full of bugs and technical problems. Porting complex VST 2.4 plugins to VST 3 is a nightmare.
Unlike what Steinberg advertises are GUIs with several sizes also possible with VST 2.4. This is not a VST3 feature. We already added this in the recent updates of our other synths.
MPE is also possible with VST 2.4 and already supported in Icarus2.
Midi 2.0 should also be possible with VST 2.4.
A VST 2.4 version for Mac is possible if there is demand.
32 bit will not longer be supported.

I hope your 3d modelling skills have improved , not using a default scanline renderer for specular highlights on knobs etc...Markus Krause wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2020 10:41 am This is the current status of the project ( November 2020):
