Hi Mike,
yes, it is possible. You can assign time signature to not just the composition (globally) but to parts and lines, or even to a chord box. The latter is the smallest unit with its own chord, scale, tempo and signature setting.
The way it works: parts inherit the time signature (and tempo and scale) from the composition, lines inherit from parts, chord boxes inherit from lines, but any of these units can override any of the scale/tempo/signature if necessary.
For example if you want to override the signature for a line:
Please note that RC uses a simplistic approach, so only the numerator of a complex time signature can be set, that is the number of beats per bar.
Thanks,
Attila

Thanks Atilla. That's helpful to know. Very cleverly implemented.
But my wish list for future versions would be a more conventional nominator / denominator display of time signatures.
Thanks much for your reply. Much appreciated.

I see! You will get it in v4.0 at the latest. This is on the to-do list for a while.
Thanks,

Is the ruler supposed to show the modification ? Like I input x3 but it's still showing 4 beats and also it gets unsynced with Reaper starting in this point. The chords are still played at the right moment in the song but the playhead lags behind further and further....
MXLinux21, 16 Gig RAM, Intel i7 Quad 3.9, Reaper 6.42, Behringer 204HD or Win7 Steinberg MR816x
