Phrase Editor and Changing Beats

Hi.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, so I thought I'd post it here and see what folk think.

My question is around changing beats within a composition. Say I go from 4/4 to 3/4 as in the following. First thing to note is the beats/bar seem to be stuck on the Master Track setting, rather than that of the part. A bug? Not sure, but it doesn't seem right.



And this leads into the Phrase Editor following the beat pattern of the Master Track, which really doesn't work so well. I've dropped 4 bars of Melody Generator on to Part 2. I'm supposed to be in three here, yet everything says four. So instead of 4 bars of 3 (12 beats) I'm getting 4 bars of 4 (16 beats)...



Any thoughts?

hmm if i get this correct
seems something strange in the Master/Part/Line hierarchy
i just posted to the bug report

about editing in Phrase Editor part:
(perhaps would great if Phrase Editor adapts itself according to loaded phrase location-time line, chords+time sig.)

anyway,
i would use the Note Editing Mode (F2) in this case.

There is definitely something wrong, this looks like a bug.
I will fix this in the next few days.
