Ya think Mr Rudess would get a bit of respect around here for his stellar skills on the ivories (especially considering that this site is festooned with keyboard players from all various genres).

But i have to admit that his pose in that shot just leaves him wiiiide open.

Four years of piano lessons so far haven't given me any love of wanky prog. Or not of Dream Theater, anyway.

I listened to his most recent album; while he is a fast/competent keyboard player I was not impressed at all with his synth patches.

But that picture... it's just begging for sarcastic bombardment. Was it suppose to be a joke? Or is he really that egotistic? The mind waddles.

Did you see the video he did for Moog? He just played some unmusical pattern all the time, and the sound was not far from pure sinewave.

In my opinion, he did some great stuff in Liquid tension experiment and on Scenes from a memory. I have no idea what happened to him after that... the same happened to John Petrucci(too much chromaticism!).
