A russian limiter - this called for a theme with lots of red.

To see how red it ultimately got, check out the screenshots. :phones:

(I know, hardly recognizable as L6 anymore, but a totally new look was exactly what i wanted.)

If you like the UI, and want to use it, heres a couple of things you should know:

- The images can be used with version 1.0.2 only!

- The pack contains 2 sets of knobs plus their respective backgrounds. You can further choose between with or without stands. All important details concerning the knobs and BGs are in Info.txt in the archive (please be sure to read it) so i wont repeat it here.

- There is no support for multi-language labels. I have used this image to provide optional bright backgrounds for the readouts. (Personally i have no problem seeing them on the dark BG, but i figured others might, so this seemed like a good solution.) The readout backgrounds can be toggled Grey/White/Off by leftclicking into the area directly to the left of the bottom right stand. Since the language overlay image is used for this purpose, the state of the boxes is stored in the same way the language selection was stored, i.e. according to whatever their state was in the last-closed instance. Off corresponds to RU, Grey to EN and White to JP.

- The flipswitches are now knobs, but functionally they still act as flipswitches. In other words you cannot drag them to move them, you still have to click them to go from one position to the next. This couldnt be helped, since i could only change the image but not the control type itself.

Well, not much else to say i guess so ill just leave it at that.

Hope youll enjoy it, any questions just ask.

PS: Russians will probably laugh about the reversed R since it is really a Ya and not an Er. But this is what westerners do to make something look russian, so please dont hold it against me. Im just kinda following an old tradition here. (lol)

It looks great, but too "modern" for my taste. I prefer the "Knobs A" version.

I like "Knobs B" alone, but they're a bit out of style from meters. So +1 for A version.

Thanks, looks much more professional than the default GUI!

Limiter No6, isn't that the one which sounds great on drums, if I remember it right? Or was it Molot?

Same here.

Yeah, the B ones kinda blow because i overdid it with the perspective. I only put them in the pack because i was afraid that the A ones will be too dark for some, and the B ones at least had white indicator lines. (It was the first set i made, but i wasnt really satisfied so i began to make set A.) Perhaps ill make another set some other time...

(BTW...Hi Vlad.) :ud:

@Other posters:

Thank you. I worked on this on and off for about 4 weeks so its nice to hear that others like it too.

Really means a lot to me. :)

Love it - reminds of the Buzzroom GUI's which I've always liked a lot.

Thanks for the new GUI.
I forgot to put mine GUI here on KVR. It is for those who prefer classic hardware with RED brushed aluminum.
:) ONLY FOR GUI 2
Just copy those files to Resources folder of the plugin itself.

It's a pain in the ass to change the skin with a ressource editor like that.

It would be easier if the DLL was accessing the GUI files from a folder next to it. That way, just copy/past one time, boom, easy !

Hi :)

Fantastic improvement, I love it!

For those on Mac, simply add the prefix "bmp00" to each of the .png files and you're good to go.

Cheers

I once thought I had mono for an entire year. It turned out I was just really bored...
