WaveParse is a suite of nine high precision VST3 plugins, supported by 31 Nyquist tools, built for detailed track cleanup, characterization, and gain only compliance. The core modules — Locate Floor, Locate Peaks, Show Floor, Show Mid, Show Peaks, Show Splices, Show Zeros, Wave A/B/Audit, and Wave Stats — form the heart of the system. This update adds two new capabilities: one minor, one major.

Minor update — 'Show Zeros'
In a track recorded from the Android simulator, the 'Show Splices' tool flagged a brief stutter where four consecutive samples had exactly the same value. That’s extremely rare in real audio.

'Show Zeros' has been expanded to detect this condition. It now reports any instance where two or more consecutive samples are identical (outside the zero‑range thresholds). These events are almost impossible to spot by ear or by eye in a normal waveform review, but they’re worth catching because they can reveal subtle rendering or export anomalies.

Major update — 'Wave Stats'
The 'Wave Stats' plugin retains its existing functions, generating Excel compatible CSV files that detail floor, mid, and peak characteristics across the entire track, along with a whole track summary. It now adds 100 ms and 400 ms sliding‑window profiles and includes the minimum values from those windows in the whole‑track summary.

This enhancement not only provides useful information about the track but also demonstrates that “Wave Stats” computes minimum‑RMS values consistent with the Audacity/industry‑standard ACX Check. This confirms the accuracy of WaveParse’s analysis and makes “Wave Stats” a complete quality‑indicating tool for both raw source audio and edited tracks.
