Check this link http://www.sensomusic.org/forums/viewto ... 755#p28755 i think the info on the buy page hasnt been updated for this 'few free weeks'. Just go to the site you linked, and click Downloads, no email needed.
BTW, theres also a Usine Hollyhock Free version on the downloads page, not sure what the limitations are, cant find a version features comparison list or anything.

yes, I've improve our website
you'll find the difference between Hollyhock versions on the specifications page;
http://www.sensomusic.org/wiki2/doku.ph ... ison_chart
About Usine stage, this is a part of the previous version of Usine Hollyhock , named Usine pro 5
Generally , yes we offer this Stage version to people from developing countries who ask for it by mail, but for some weeks we decide to offer it for free for anyone
The Usine stage is only Windows but have
* 16 in/ 16 outs
* Unlimited midi devices
* 8 tracks
* 8 patches per tracks
* 2 auxiliary buses
* 2 master tracks
* Osc implementation
* Conductor to memorize scenes
Can be a god introduction to Usine hollyhock ( Win and Mac ) and a huge list of improvements/ new features
have fun

The index.html points to "url=./pages/index.html" which is what appears to be missing. If you go inside "\Manual\pages\manual" youll find about 7mb worth of (english) html guides and info split up into subfolders.JoseC. wrote:ummm...I just downloaded it and most of the manual is missing...and what is left is in Portuguese with the note in Portuguese "under translation"

Wow! Many thanks for your generosity nay-seven. I didn't realise there was a tutorial on the website. Time to get acquainted.

Glad you appreciate this offer,
About help, the best way is to select English in the global setup and you can also use the online option in the same tab,

you'll also find some manuals, lessons to start here
http://www.sensomusic.com/wiki/doku.php ... sine_stage
And remember it's the old version of Usine, Usine Hollyhock is definitively more advanced and have a free version too !

This could possibly be the most versatile and powerful music application anywhere. But its not REGULAR - which is OK, but the documentation is a little lacking IMHO.
You guys should put up some very basic videos on how some of the simplest things are done - like how to open a synth, sequence a melody and effectuate it. A simple chain, but figuring it out in Usine is not as natural as other sequencers. I got well into Cubase and Reaper no problem after a couple of hours. I know it's first nature to the devs, but the rest of us come from all kinds of other environments... just some really basic how-tos to get one started.
