Audio in ear over bluetooth?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking to send my audio from the soundcard to a bluetooth receiver and use it as in ear. Do you think this would work?
I can send youtube vids to my motu or other. So why wouldn't I be able to send audio from my daw to it?
I'm on W10.

if this is for recording, perhaps 't bluetooth headphones might give you a better sound.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

Not sure about latency. Sure would be convenient though.

It's for live use.
I've found some headphones bluetooth sender.
Would be interesting to have it hooked to my soundcards headphones indeed.

Do you guys think it would be somehow possible to mix my motu OUT to a bluetooth receiver?
This way I could receive the sound wireless on my in ear headphones :)
Is there any way?

I can now receive my computer output sound to the bluetooth.
But sure there must be a way to route the computer sound to the motu?

I think there is some leatency involved when using Bluetooth. At least there is latency up to the point where it's not lip-synced anymore, when i connect my Bluetooth speaker to my laptop (some milliseconds, but, still noticable). Maybe someone else can confirm that, and knows a bit more about it. At least, to me, it looks like nothing you would want to use for latency critical audio use.

Ow that doesn't look good. I have a bluetooth dongle here for streaming music but can't test latency of course.
It's only for monitoring but any latency would be unwanted of course.

I could always use something as this transmitter on the headphones jack.
I already ordered it from China :)
Of course that would mean 2 dongles to take care of... But anyhow better than dragging a double 19 inch along for my wireless transmitters :)

I posted on my beloved Cantabile forum the same and seems older BT have latency probs.

Surely otherwise BT phone accessoires would be useless IMO?

Don't take my word for it... I only have experience with consumer speakers in combination with mobile devices. Might not be an issue with more high end equipment.

Seems there already is a BT v5 on the market, my china dongle is v3 I see
It does have EDR:
Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) for faster data transfer. The nominal rate of EDR is about 3 Mbit/s, although the practical data transfer rate is 2.1 Mbit/s.[46] EDR uses a combination of GFSK and Phase Shift Keying modulation (PSK) with two variants, π/4-DQPSK and 8DPSK.[48] EDR can provide a lower power consumption through a reduced duty cycle.

Because your DAW uses ASIO and not the WDM driver model perhaps? Tried Asio4All ??

Anyway, for a professional wireless solution guaranteed to be without any latency (thus analog) you'd need something like a Sennheiser SR 300 transmitter plus a EK 300 receiver.

Thx, seems like an expensive solution, just what I was trying to bypass.
Hm, never thought about aso4all indeed. Let's check.

I've been looking for a wireless in-ear, or clip-on solution, and the only one's I can find are Bluetooth. The problem is, none of the one's I've seen come with a Bluetooth transmitter. They all seem to be primarily designed for moblie devices that already transmit Bluetooth themselves, like cell phones, pads & laptops etc.

I've used wireless headphones with either RF, or Infrared in my home studio with good success. I couldn't really detect a latency that threw me off at all.
But I don't like wearing headphones where I have something pressing on my ears, or strapping over my head. What I primarily use in my home studio is hardwired clip-ons (and sometimes ear-buds), which work great, but I'd like to be free of wires.

Funny thing is I have professional AKG Studio headphones costing about $180.00, but I prefer to use my $15.00 KSC75 Koss clip-ons...because of comfort which I can barely feel them on my ears, and they also sound better than my AKG's, go figure!

What I like about the Koss KSC75's is that I can hear the ambience (my voice) in the room, and in the phones as well. In-ear works ok, but blocks room ambience, making it harder to track vocals.

This is for my home studio use though, not live performance.

Ok I've got the stuff now and sorry to say, the delay is to long to be reasonable. Like 1 sec or so.
Pity because otherwise it works well, and cheap in ear
Maybe bluetooth v5 sender and receivers would do the job?
