Can someone tell me what is "Error 34" and how to fix it?

ERROR 34

"GRUB mis-configured"

Drive is configured for a different hardware platform

Context missing. Can you tell me what you and/or the computer are trying to achieve? What is your hunch what has caused it? Are you running windows, mac/os or linux? Got any idea why I ask that? Anything peculiar happened last time it still worked?

NB: we have a "computer & hardware setup" forum which is more suitable maybe.

That's a Linux error.

Am I too assume your plugging in a Linux formated boot drive, into a Windows PC install?

My default advice (well... suggestion... it's pretty poor advice if you want the data on the drive) is to nuke the drive and format it in NTFS.

You may want to look into other options, if the is data on there.
