Opening this topic in case anyone needs info about the plugin.

There is some semblance of a manual (needs some more love but can give some ideas about parameters and internals) explaining what I was trying to achieve with it.

Note: also a website about what it is trying to do. https://mushin-audio.web.app/

Oops I already opened a thread about Mushin yesterday :)
Anyway, I can't load your plugin:
Your plugin is crashing Reaper7 on windows11, immediately after loading.
Can you give it a look? Would love to test your VST :)

I have released a 1.0.1 version hopefully fixing this.
I have Reaper on Windows 10 here, will try it on a Windows 10.
There was also a crash in Renoise, also fixed by this 1.0.1

Thank you for the interest! Keep me posted.

Also, make sure you use the installer, drag and dropping the VST3 around is not going to work.

Soooo...I gave it a first try, on my work computer. I installed the exe but it tells me that the microsoft edge webview2 is missing on my pc. It offers to open the download page for that but when I download and start the webview2 installer, it tells me that webview2 is already installed on the pc...
But somehow I was able to skip that step and it loads now!

A Renoise crash report came in and using the 1.0.1 installer makes it work.

Thanks for your entry. Tested some of the modules this morning. I'm using Reaper 7 in Windows 10. A couple of bugs I found:

1. Something is wrong with the vintage filter. HP goes silent. LP does not lowpass.
2. The ping pong mode in the delay does not work. Ping pong does not occur when enabled.

A couple of suggestions:

1. Double click parameter to set to default value.
2. Modulation of delay time with LFO or sidechain
3. Larger text. Especially for the dropdowns and parameter values
4. LFOs can modulate each other (freq and depth).

Here's a guitar riff processed using Mushin.

Dunno if intended, but in your latest version selecting a different preset doesn´t immediately affect the sound output in Renoise 3.5.4. Using the arrow icon toggle to the right though, does change the sound.

On the preset selection yes it is not immediate as I wanted it like that.

That being said if you know the preset and type a part of it in the search box and hit enter, it will select right away.

The idea was to have some prefix and then -01 -02 ... and then use arrows to move through some corruption sequence.

I noticed that bug on the filter.
Ping pong i will check.
You can double click on filter frequencies to set them.
I didn't enabled that for each value but would be great. Time constraints...
Did you notice that shift goes with very small increments? Quite nice on the delay if feedback set like 99% and very small values you get a decent resonator.

Mod delay time w LFO and sidechain yes, good ideas.

Cross LFO modulation indeed on my map, with sync and not. Time constraints again but defo cool.

Thanks for trying it out!

If a preset entry is selected, LOAD will make it active.

A cool trick you can do is to set the noise generator to say white noise, set it to some level, enable the trancegate w say spacegate, get the delay w some feedback and like 40% mix.

Then enable/disable the noise generator on some slower rythm.

On the same vein, switch the filter routing from serial to parallel rythmically.
I find it fun to do.

On the info decay block, there is that link exhaust button. Enable it along w exhaust in the s curve box. Can lead to interesting material.
