I want to increase the dissonant beat frequencies phenomenon on unison lines that are slightly detuned from eachother by applying excitation or tube saturation on the bounced signal. All effects I've tried are either intended for mastering purposes or lo-fi and amp sims. I'm rather trying to find a pure effect with lot's of range from gentle to brutal and hifi. Something like blockfish's saturation control but stand-alone.

I'm not sure we're on the same page, but here's what I like

saturation- rs-met func shaper, try saturation or tube presets

exciter-clas, antress modern exciter, terry west has a new one

Recommend me a "Pure" exciter or tube sim for special purpose
