Hi, I've been trying to work out the chords for the following
songs with no luck:

deadmau5 - Arguru (The orchestral part)

deadmau5 - Slip (The plucky part)

Justin Moreh - Effection (The synth sound)
https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/con ... /Effection

Judge Jules - Master Breaker (The trancy lead)
https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/con ... he%20Noise

Judge Jules - Judgement Theme
https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/con ... he%20Noise

Gregor Tresher - A Thousand Nights (The rising synth)
https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/con ... 20Part%203

Gregor Tresher - Anti (The synth)
https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/con ... 20Part%202

Wolfgang Gartner - Sour Candy (The bit at the very beginning of the demo)
https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/con ... Candy%20EP

If anyone could tell me any of the progressions/notes/octaves etc for any of these, that'd be awesome.

(I know how deadmau5 did Slip, so that might be harder, but it's still here because I do want to know what it is.)

If theres any solitary notes / chords you could try sampling them and running them through GTune to find out... i usually do that with remix stems.

nice site D N A thanks for the link..

so deadmau5 arguru... on the site D N A has given us, download the midi for arguru, import into fl studio..

then on the 2nd sampler channel replace it with z3ta, then on the top right corner you should see the letters A B C D E F.. CLICK on C, THEN LOAD THE PRESET "CHORDS OF LIFE" and just play around with filters CUTTOFF...

take a listen to see what z3ta does...

Thanks! Though it only has Arguru from this list. If anyone has any other ideas please tell.

Aren't this just simple 5th or 7th chords?

I'm sure most of the melodies are not played as chords because the sound itself is an instant "chord" (3 or 4 oscs with various semitones).

Here you can hear many such "chords" but they are just simple 1-finger-melodies: http://www.wildfunk.de/mp3/ehs1demo.mp3

PS: Arguru is one of my favourite tracks! But the djs play only the commercially stuff von D5 :(
