As I already own ER1 and ER2, I'm going for ER3.

Herodotus,
i could download the rex-files without problems, but the wav-download was finished at 33%. There must be a partition. It has about 176 mb.
Should i try it again tomorrow?

The wave files zip archive should total 519 MB or so. If it is smaller, the download must have been interrupted.mellotronaut wrote:Herodotus,

Try again if you can. If you have further trouble, I will be happy to set up an alternative method of delivery.
Thanks a lot!

Just tried to access ER1, but got a "This page cannot be displayed" message. Is there someone wrong with your website?

ER 1 and 2 are sold through Dangerous Bear, and they appear to be having difficulties.
Sorry about that, but I am sure they will be back up by tommorrow.

Freeztar did an awesome little demo using a Wayne Shorter standard:

For which he is hereby publicly thanked.

It was fun and the drums are SUPER easy to mix. They just fall into the mix so nicely and have a great frequency range.
Out of curiosity, are there one shots included, or at least sparse enough loops to cut into one shots? Also, Is the time sig 6/8 for all the loops?
Anti-aliasing is for "synthmonk%ys".

Thanks Dave!mckenic wrote:Beautiful sounds and Im continually AMAZED at how inspiring these sound!
I am afraid there are no one shots. The recording sessions these came from were terminated abruptly when the engineer was stricken by major lower back issues.freeztar wrote:My pleasure...herodotus wrote:Freeztar did an awesome little demo using a Wayne Shorter standard:

My intention was to have many more loops as well, but...well, thats why these are so absurdly cheap!
There are some very sparse loops, though. And no, the only loops in 6/8 are the ones at 100bpm. The rest are either one or two measure 4/4 loops.
I am glad you like the way our drums fit in a mix. We really stress old school, raw and 'natural' recording techniques. 75% of the sound is from the natural stereo spread of two Octava MK-012s in a standard x/y configuration. Consequently, they just sound like, well, a drum set.
