Sequencer for mobile devices

Hi guys, I'm curious...

Do you know some host/sequencers to be used in mobile devices? I mean, in OSs like Symbian or Windows Mobile?

I know Syntrax for symbian and Urban for pocketpc.

I think, developers could start thinking in mobile production gear, what you think?

Bhajis Loops and Microbe for Palm OS by Chocopoolp. I have used Bhajis Loops extensively and it's the tits. I don't claim my music to best represent it's power, but it should give you an idea of what it can do. The songs "Mono Alien Stars" and "Get the Love Back" were done entirely with Bhajis Loops, no post processing of any kind. DiscoXXX is also Bhajis.

I can't say enough good things about it's power coupled with ease of use. It even has Oblique Strategies cards build into it as well as a random name generator for your tunes if you can't come up with a name yourself. If you don't have a palm, Ebay yourself a cheap Tungsten T3 for about 75-110 USD and fork over the 40 bucks for Bhajis. It's more than worth it.

There's a softsynth tracker program for multiple OS' including Palm and Windows Mobile called "SunVox". Very nice sound, even out of older hardware (the reverb sounds like a dream on my Tungsten T3) and lots of voices and modular synth/fx routing. Some really nice ideas and very nice to start a track, say, on your mobile device then finish up the exact same track in the same format on PC. Be warned, the interface is a tad small on handheld devices. It's still very much usable, though, and there's some nice plans for it in the future, including some MIDI features.

If you have both programs on Palm, they compliment each other very well. You can program synths and such in SunVox, render the output and load it into Bhajis for editing and using it in Bhajis (which is the more fun of the two to use).

Here's a short list of various odds and ends for mobile sequencing...

DS-10 by Korg for Nintendo DS (lots of buzz on this lately)
Nanoloop for Gameboy (almost strictly for experimental music)
Nanoloop 2 for Gameboy Advance (has distinct FM sounds)
LSDJ for Gameboy (very popular)
PSPSeq for PSP (personal fave of mine...very powerful step sequencing)
PSPRhythm for PSP (sort of like an MPC trapped inside a PSP interface)
PSPKick for PSP (less powerful than PSPRhythm but same principle)
TraxxPad for PSP (confusing interface but allows realtime live sequencing)
LGPT for GP2x & PSP (LSDJ interface with 8 tracks using samples)
Looper for Gameboy Advance (text only interface but unique)

These are most of the ones I can remember off the top of my head. With the exception of DS-10 and Traxxpad, you need special hardware beyond the system itself to run these, either flash carts for the Nintendo systems or hacked PSP. GP2X doesn't need to be hacked to run LGPT, but PSP does to run it.

There's lots of choices out there and I've tried quite a few of them due to the fact that I'm in the military and want to be able to take some kind of music making with me without taking up much space. Like any music program regardless of platform, your mileage varies depending on how much effort you put in and the style you want to make. There's awesome music done with all of the programs listed here floating around to check out. Google is your friend.
