Hi!
I just recognized that Infinite Player is available at a discounted price - $50:
http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=2459
I am not interested in drums but drums the "core" regarding the available soundpack offers.
It also exists a piano which is interesting at this price:
http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=2408
Together it seems to be a good deal on VSTi pianos.
So, I'm consideruing a purchase but I'm not sure if I really .... I mean REALLY need it (maybe you know that question as well). I have a few questions on that issues therefore :
(1) Is the InfinitePlayer on sale for a longer time or does this offer run out within the next days?
(2) Can anybody compare this deluxe piano here to TruePianos? The deluxe piano would be cheaper but I heard many good things about TruePianos.
(3) I still own e free redeem key from the ReTank group buy. Is it possible to use this redeem key for any soundpack that I would be able to use in Infinite Player? If yes, which soundpacks would qualify for that?
A little hint on the possible soundpacks (usable in InfinitePlayer) would be nice since all the offers on www.downloadablesoundz.com are quite confusing.... to ME!
(4) Would there be a way to get former purchased samples (e.g. in SampleTank format) to convert into the infinite Player format? I read something about such a possibility.... don't know where.
(5) What will be future Instruments for IP (beneath the cinema pak which is already announced)? And when will they come out?
Thanks, Jens!

The offer will be running out at the end of this month.
(2) Can anybody compare this deluxe piano here to TruePianos? The deluxe piano would be cheaper but I heard many good things about TruePianos.
I am sure the TruePianos is very good. They do great stuff and what comes with that is a higher price, larger sized stuff etc. We have that sort of thing coming too. The Deluxe Piano from SR though is an intermediate level type product and thus is priced that way too. It's more "deluxe" than the pianos we normally do for Reason, SampleTank etc. but not as massive as some huge streaming sized piano. It's a 300 meg piano triple strike and regardless of anything it is a beautiful and inspiring piano that is unique so I'd say to anyone comfortably that even if you have TruePianos or Ivory or any of our upcoming streaming-sized pianos, this one of a C7 is dare I say a "must-have" particularly if you are fond of the Yamaha C7 sound as I am... and many others.
(3) I still own e free redeem key from the ReTank group buy. Is it possible to use this redeem key for any soundpack that I would be able to use in Infinite Player? If yes, which soundpacks would qualify for that?
For the ReTank group buy, no. It only works with ReTank products. That's the way redeem codes work. They are attached to certain product lines only. We DID do an Infinite Studio Group Buy and that will still work for Infinite format products if you haven't use that yet but that was a different group buy.
(4) Would there be a way to get former purchased samples (e.g. in SampleTank format) to convert into the infinite Player format? I read something about such a possibility.... don't know where.
It won't be that anyone converts besides us (there's no converter program that can do it for you) but we are taking the best of Sonic Reality's sounds that we've ever done (including sounds we've done in other formats like Reason, ST etc. as well as a lot of streaming-sized instruments we've not released in anything before) and making it available for the Infinite Player. When it is an identical copy/translation of the samples plus the extra programming such as mapping, enhanced features with scripts etc there will be a CROSS-GRADE discount to get the Infinite Player/Kontakt version of that title. For example, we have the Konstruction Pak series coming and many of those titles are also RAW Style Paks or RMX paks for Stylus or ReTank titles. If someone purchased the same title in any of those formats they would qualify for a cheap cross-grade to the Infinite Player version. So, for instance if you have the Hip Hop Dirty South title in any of those formats you could pick up the Konstruction Pak version for Infinite Player for something like $15 (instead of $60+ as it normally would be). Basically you'd just be paying for the programming part and not the same sample set which you already have... it's a nice way to take your previous purchases into consideration without a penalty for wanting to use it in multiple formats. We're hip to that and want to provide a fair way to offer it so the customer is happy. EVENTUALLY all crossgrade products will show up with this offer right there in your user area! But for now you just contact our sales team and they can set it up for you manually... although the Konstruction Paks have not officially been released yet for the Infinite Player. They will be soon.
(5) What will be future Instruments for IP (beneath the cinema pak which is already announced)? And when will they come out?
Well, there is a LOT coming for the Infinite Player but it is funded by the previous sales so we are launching Drum Masters right now which is the flagship Infinite Player plug-in. It has to SELL so we can afford to cover the huge costs of getting everything else into the format as well. We're a self-funded company so any time you see us doing something crazy like recording all over the world it's because our customers support us by simply buying our products. Instead of sitting on our butts smoking cigars we take that success and refuel up to bring you more... people that realize that's how dedicated to the big picture we are tend to want to support us that much more because they are making it possible for EVERYTHING under the sun to be available to them conveniently and fairly for formats like Infinite Player (which is also Kontakt) and/or other formats too like BFD, Stylus, Reason, SampleTank etc.
Anyway, the answer regardless is YES there will be future instruments for IP including everything that has been announced so far www.sonicreality.com/infiniteplayer and things I've mentioned like our entire Tron collection, synth samples, world instruments, vintage instruments and an incredible orchestral collection that combines the best of SR, Miroslav and a few other surprises - with key switching articulations and other nice features. It's all in the works.
Btw, Cinema Sessions is more effects than playable instruments. It's incredibly cool as are the sound effects from Serafine.
The offer will be running out at the end of this month.
