really? You mean I'm not alone? I go by the

I get from the wife when they come on (we do everything on random play)...I see it as payback for some of "her" songs I sit through...I wont mention any names of bands or artists but I will say there is no need to return the 5¢, the can keep it and I'm not in a rush to rescue the 5 castaways either

Meanwhile as I'm typing this she is saying "when was your last grammy (@ me and KvR or "all of yahs" as she likes to use) how many women are ripping their clothes off for you"?

I'm sure your wife's a doll and all, but seriously, can anyone who likes THAT band really be trusted to have a properly developed ADULT taste in music? Apologies in advance if your wife is still in junior high school.

...I guess you figured out the first band but did you get the "5 castaways"?

FWIW most of our taste is the same, the difference between her and me is she likes most songs based on lyrics and I hardly ever know all the lyrics in a song.

This album was a part of the soundtrack of my childhood. I remember sitting and listening to this for hours. I have since bought this on LP, cassette and CD. It was one of the first things I put on my MP3 player. It connects me to the child I once was and would like to be again.

I probably shouldn't say this, but I've got a real soft spot in my head for the endless excessive hippy guitar bash. One of my favorite bands is Wire and their best songs clock in at 3 min or under ("The Commercial" is 1:54), but some times I just need 7+ minutes of pointless guitar noodling, full of thud and blunder. So, yeah, in my most perverse moments gimme Wishbone Ash or Savoy Brown...
