Just tried Flowtones. It's ok

To be honest I'm losing a bit of traction with ToneBoosters. He has some killer plugins like DualVCF that need some love, and he is not enhancing them - for example, I asked a while ago about the addition of Zero Delay Feedback filters and the LFO supporting random in sample-and-hold fashion. The first request was simply ignored, the second subject to their priority queue...
Same for Equalizer and linear phase mode.
The new plugin seems to sound very good but I have so many synths already and Flowtones didn't fascinate me that much...

I used to love toneboosters but the lack of fundamental improvements to vcf is a downer .
His latest synth offerings don't excite me at all ,the sound just doesn't do it for me characterless for lack of a better word .
Still , the old v3 plugins which are now freeware, are a must have in any ones effects setup

lowtones sounds good, but the demo had some nasty crashes and i find the gui a bit frustrating
yeah, not a lot of character, well, clean is a character i suppose

Still one of my favorite developers and one of the most responsive devs to feedback (in my case).

Admittedly, I have a hard time with the GUI's for the synths, especially Flowtones, but the V4 effect plugins all look and function great for me.
