I already encountered it in my search today, but since you are recommending it I've given it a shot... on REAPER it spits out intermittently double notes... pity, it's a nice concept but doesn't seem that right; maybe it's aging not so well...ThomasHelzle wrote: Sun Aug 13, 2023 3:57 pm Speaking of forgotten gems: https://www.mucoder.net/en/hypercyclic/

Yeah, it it rather old, but I always liked the unusual concept...
Haven't used it in a while though.

Thanks to everyone who chimed in, I've downloaded Stepic it's got everything I need.
I personally don't love the UI and feel the 'connect' steps could bleed into the prior 'on' step, to make it more intuitive, but overall it looks pretty great.

i bought stepic. its pretty great. ability to map automation and have different step lengths and rhythms is worth the price of entry, short of developing something yourself. not perfect but for 40 dollars its easy.

Surprised scaler 2 is not mentioned more because for me it is the king (and I do have 100% of reason studio excellent players)

Jac459,
You are the person to ask about the Reason Players. Wow 100%!
I have a few of the Players.
Please name your top players.
I will consider them for purchase on the next sale.

For me 2 are really excellent:
Baseline generator.
Chord sequencer.
Chord sequencer has some common feature with scaler 2 though.
Pattern mutator is also a great melody helper.
Quad not generator : not a fan, barely use it.
Dual arpeggio: ok but not awesome.
Drum sequencer is a standard drum sequencer. Feature rich but nothing special.
Polystep: I don't remember. I guess I have it but not used it much.
There is another one for drums with a map system, can't remember the name. Not sure if it is free but I am not a fan.
There is also a note repeater. Quite useful and free I guess .

You can easily configure it to do MIDI Out the same way you do any other VST with that function. To configure it in Falcon, all you need to do is open a new empty project and go to the Events tab and add your Arp or Sequence then add the MIDI Out.Jac459 wrote: Fri Mar 08, 2024 6:18 amDid you manage to configure it?l33t4e wrote: Fri Mar 08, 2024 4:10 am Falcon 3 MIDI Out with all it's scripts that can do over 50 types of sequencing, Arp, Scales, Chords, Strum,....etc too many to list. I think I got EON Arp for free last year, this is very creative. My other favorite choices are BLUEArp, Reason Rack Kompulsion or just the Midi out Arp of a blank Komplete Kontrol/Maschine Instance.
