Metallurgy was great, but I think it summed the signal to mono. Otherwise very cool effect.

Why they shutted off like this?
how can i reproduce the "talking violin"preset
shouldnt they make them just free if they quit?

We're not afraid of mono, but don't support it in our signal chain.Ranjarresh wrote:Don't be monophobic!U-o wrote:Indeed. Mono sucks!geroyannis wrote:Metallurgy was great, but I think it summed the signal to mono. Otherwise very cool effect.

Unfortunately even abandonware isn't legally free in the US.christophersad wrote:sad news herei love camelspace, 3 question:

But hey... Lemmings is only $10 used on Amazon and is dos-based, so theoretically I can install it on my phone inside DosBox. Sony can't stop me from buying an old used copy of it to emulate on my phone!

Not to say that there aren't developers and companies who release for free after their distributer tanks. Many have. Even with source code too!Timman wrote:That's very sad...arkmabat wrote:Unfortunately even abandonware isn't legally free in the US.

I've been interested in testing this for a long time, but since I have little time to play at all, I haven't come around to it:
http://www.kvraudio.com/product/repeat- ... bs/details
Repeat-X by Z3 Audiolabs:
"Repeat-X is a stutter / multi-FX VST plugin, it offers 9 effect algorithms and has a very flexible modulation and gate section, like this there are nearly endless ways to manipulate your sound."
PS: Just noticed that they have -30% until 31.Jan. which translates to 27.93 euro.
Tempting...
Will download demo this weekend, I guess

Perhaps they will see it as a case of midi gating circumstances and release Phat and Space for free?
What? Where is everybody going?

Well if you're getting it just for the gating, get LFOTool instead. It can do everything CS can do with respect to gating and then some.. plus it is still currently developed.
