CamelPhat and CamelSpace alternatives?

I just got Alchemy off a trade here on the marketplace, and it is already my new go-to
I have also been wanting to get CamelSpace and Camelphat, but then i hear the horrible news about Camel closing down. So now that these are no longer available, which do you recommend as good alternatives?

For CamelSpace.. it is tough. It had a panner, flanger, filter, delay, reverb, trancegate, and exciter/saturation all in one plugin. and all the parameters were visible at once.. very easy to use. I'm not sure there is anything out there that does all of these things.
For the gating and panning you could try LFOTool. It might actually be superior in some regards. Also has a Filter on it.
That leaves flanger, delay, reverb, exciter/saturation though.
Not that I found the reverb to be a high quality but it was there if it is needed. The delay is really simple too but used VERY much by me.

Why don't you keep using them for a while when they work (and they will probably keep working for a while unless you are maybe on a Mac with Logic)? I will continue to use CamelPhat.
But if you want an alternative maybe try NI Molekular, it seems quite capable with 35 FX and 16 Mod sources. Haven't used it though.

They are unique plugins and that's why I bought.
You need to combine several plugins to obtain several sounds.
Buy the copies from here.

Phat and Space are really great bargains. Hard to beat them with just one plugin...
That said, I'll make an attempt. Sausage Fattener could cover CamelPhat somewhat. Not completely though. Something like Effectrix or Glitch 2 would make a decent Space replacement IMO but they still wouldn't have all of the same features.

What about the Uhbiks? Some people don't like the sound of them or the fact that they're all seperate, but for me, they're very good. Often I've been tempted to pick up Phat and Space myself. Kinda wish I had now. C'est la vie.

Yes, CamelPhat and CamelSpace is/used to be my secret plug-in choices. I would look at NI's Driver or FXSpansion's Etch for CamelPhat and Rob Papen's RP-Delay or PSP N20 for delays (which I also own all of those mentioned plugins...)

As for long term use, if they work fine in 64-bit mode and with any modern OS (OS X Yosemite and corresponding Windows OS), they should work for some years' to come. but I would freeze or bounce tracks in case they are instrumental for some of the sounds used for released tracks.
...now, it's not the first time a synth or plug-in is obsoleted, if I need to recover an old project with non-working plug-in, I just make a new remix using some other tools. Such is life.

For special effects I go back and forth between CamelSpace or PSP-Nitro. Probably update to N2O now. http://www.pspaudioware.com/plugins/mul ... s/psp_n2o/

Trash 2, Turnado, Wolfram, Etch, Filterbank 3, Wow2, Oligarc, Ronin, SFX Machine Pro...
Now, keep in mind that, although I own/used to own all these plugins, I frequently turn to Camel Phat/Space because the sound is somehow unique. I can't quite get there, not even using complex chains. Don't sweat the little differences, though, they'll only keep you from finishing tracks.
And remember that the final word on Camel plugins is still not out (despite all the *useful* speculation), so maybe just wait a bit?

My favorite CamelSpace feature is the Trance Gate. So easy to program and tweak.
What other effects plugins have a similarly useful trance gate?

Uhbik T is a very cool trancegate/panning/filter/pseudo-doppler (Haas) FX box. You can even make multiple patterns and morph between them, or have different patterns on the left and right channel.

yea I will use space until it just quits working due to OS upgrades. alchemy as well but Camelspace has been in nearly every track I have written since I got the thing. Just to many fun things you can do with it.
