For those who remember Twin Peaks, the dancing dwarf's voice was done this way.andywanders wrote: We sampled a short spoken phrase into a Casio FZ1. Reversed it. Played it back a few times until we could actually say it (this required copious amounts of beer and smoke).
Then, when we could say it almost perfectly, we sampled it again and reversed it.
I can't describe how weird this sounded, sort of time-warp, reverse, crazy, spooky... etc.
Don't do it my way.
