I guess I'm doing semi-ok
22 in VSTi and 47 in FX-folder.
There's only 11 synths including drumsynths, the rest are eXT, DS-404, and then one-trick emulations like organs & strings. I'm glad I've gotten rid of most of the synths I used to have, possibly even 11 is too much to master them all properly
Effects are slower to really evaluate & rank properly, so there are many units for the same job and many that I haven't even tried yet.

more than 100 synths and more than 100 effects. BUT it's the same as in your case, I've realised I use no more than 20, and really no more than 10 regularly, so I'm going to erase many of them from my hard drive.
