I have heard many, many people who have much MUCH less talent than these guys.

They can actually SING for god's sake.

How many metal bands have people who can sing as well as growl and scream?

Has anyone ever sounded great on SNL? Listening to most live music from the TV is like listening to a transistor radio stuffed ten feet down a sewer pipe. I like what I've heard of SOAD. It blows 90% of what's on the radio straight out of the water. I've found that most people I've talked to, here in real life, that don't like them, have some problem with their politics.

when i was "growing up" snl had
devo, patti smith, talking heads, bands that really made an impression, that's kind of lost now...my whole f**king point is that in this day and age on american tv, it's hard to believe someone dropped the "f bomb" on live tv...doesn't anyone see/read the news? that's pretty bad today, congress is clamping down...that's the point i'm trying to get across, not the sound of the band...

The next question is why are you guys trying to wring gold from a pertrified turd in the first place? Who in their right mind watches TV anyways unless they're deliberately courting a state of null wave consciousness? I'd rather have a bag of dope or some pills instead..

Meh... good point. I just wish we could get the TV back to the days of the 1990's. Over this side of the pond, Channel 4 used to show some really good stuff.... now... Desperate Housewives 24 f**king 7.
