Hey.

I just installed Adobe Audition and loaded all the VST's I used to use in Cool Edit 2000. The problem I'm finding is that only a few of the GUIs show up in Audition. Mostly they're the default.

Huh?

Is this a bug or something?
I try to care and understand.

Did Cool Edit 2000 load VSTs?

I can say there is a bug with Audition and VSTs I have noticed that the refresh will hang and not show the directory

No, I used a wrapper with CE. I guess Audition still needs a few improvements . . .

It does when it comes to vsts – actually since doing more sample editing and recording I notice a few other little things that can be annoying – like setting the root note, it writes it to a different file away from the main wave grrrr. Though midi key is ok – over all it’s a very good app though for wave editing – I like the display and the recording windows. – But for sure if you have a diverse vst listing it will freeze and lock up also some dxi plug-ins don’t work like they should and crash Audition.

I had an version 6 of sound forge but the lower version so it would not load anything up over 16-bit – so in the end a bit the bullet and upgraded to sound forge 8 for the bulk of my wave editing with vst effects – that’s working real well.

The VST integration in Audition could use some improvement. I still prefer using wrapped VST's
